The Defender Intro is suitble age groups 6-7*. It is fabricated with one layer of mouthguard material, two and a half millimeters thick, making it easy for a child to wear during minimum contact sports, such as tee-ball, youth basketball, and youth soccer. It’s a great introduction to the discipline of wearing mouthguards every time they play or train.

We strongly recommend the Defender Varsity based on its level of protection, and because it includes the Streamline Design, which allows for clear communication and easy breathing during game play.
